Caught Between the Gospel and the Magisterium
When Sheep Have to Shepherd
The peace in a small urban Catholic parish was shattered by the presence of an alcoholic pedophile pastor. When the author became aware of the harm being done he was pressed into a war with his Archdiocese in trying to remove the predator. The lack of courage and candor of the bureaucracy to remove a threat to the flock pressed this lifelong Catholic to reevaluate the process of leadership selection, from the towers of the Vatican to the basements of every parish, throughout the world. The author concludes that bishops, the world over, have become addicted to their won power and have often ignored the real mission statement; that of the Gospel of Jesus. With in-depth scriptural research, the author analyzes how bishops are selected and how involvement of the faithful in the Apostolic Church was taken away and placed in perpetual control of an elite - now very much out of touch with their flocks and in some cases actually harming the lambs. The author suggests some suggestions that can help the Church regain its accountability and credibility, avoiding the sacrifice of children to the Moloch of addiction and regain its focus on true ministry.

The ROMEOs
The Parable of the Prodigal
Four retired friends masquerade as residents of a neighborhood Alzheimer's Care facility to get free lunches. All goes well until one of the ROMEOs is admitted as a patient while the afflicted resident leaves the confines. The ROMEOs have to return the lost resident and free their friend. In the meantime, the newly admitted ROMEO discovers some nefarious crimes and decides to stay and pursue justice. This fanciful book delves deeper as a modern day study of the Parable of the Return of the Prodigal Son. It also shows the folly of two extremes plaguing the Church - the divisions between Modernists and Traditionalists. If, indeed, the Gospel is the foundation of Christianity, isn't it time for everyone to come home? Acclaimed as a Quentin Tarantino approach to scripture, this serious, yet graphic book will entertain and inform. In The ROMEOs even the neighborhood squirrels are trying to get home!

The World Youth Day Murders
What do L. Ron Hubbard, Jim Jones, David Koresh, Nelson DeCloud, and Marshall Applewhite have in common with the Roman Catholic Church? Most Catholics don't realize that there cults within the Catholic Church that are officially termed Movements. But make no mistake, the same tactics used in Scientology, The People's Temple, The Branch Davidians, The DeCloud Family, and Heaven's Gate are employed by the leaders of numerous Vatican approved Movements. Brainwashing, strict discipline, food deprivation, twelve hour days of work and indoctrination are utilized to mold members into compliant profit centers to the benefit of their communities - and, of course, their leaders. This murder mystery outlines how one of these movements became the perfect hiding place for a deranged killer to ply his trade. WYD Murders accurately describes various Movements within the Catholic Church such as Opus Dei, The Neocatechuminal Way, Focolare, Tradition Family Property, and Legionaries of Christ. It is common practice in these Movements to sublimate the Gospel to the teachings of the Movement founders. And such practices lead to nefarious activities. When susceptible, impressionable, and sometimes troubled youth are indoctrinated with mind-control tactics some deadly results can occur.
